Blooming Seedlings

Seedlings from seeds started early in the season will bloom in summer.
Cannas will bloom in colours from whites to creams to yellows, oranges, pinks, and reds. Flowers can be solid colours, bicolours, bleeders, etc. Foliage in all shades of green, purples, maroons, and variegated. Heights from short to very tall at about 15'.

Pods and Ripe Seeds

Seed heads form where flowers have pollinated in fertile cannas.
Ripe seeds are seen peeking from pods. Mature seeds are hard and shiny and black brown in colour. Some cannas are sterile. They will form pods, but no mature seeds inside.
